In an Ingle's Grocery Store in 2014 Romie pulled her dad aside, pointed across the aisle, and whispered "That's him Dad. That's the guy I like." Her Dad, in typical Dad fashion, pretended that he was going to go over and introduce himself to Corey as Romie drug him away in horror.

The way these two laugh together makes my heart hurt in the best way. They support each other, tease each other, and uplift each other. They are partners in the truest sense and I am so happy for them to start this new chapter of their journey.

Avia and Kyle moved from New York City to Marshall, NC to start a comic book store in our little town. The couple has quickly established themselves as irreplaceable members of the Marshall community. They are both genuine, funny, and kind people who were a joy to be around from start to finish.
Timmy and Monique met raft guiding on the Pigeon River and they have been inseparable from each other, and the water, ever since. The couple began the day with a nostalgic walk through the old outpost, pointing out the locations of past debauchery and telling stories of their early romance, before their beautiful, intimate, ceremony surrounded by friends and family.

I loved how many details of Hannah's bridal outfit were personal. The choker was her grandmother's, her hair and makeup were done by her friends, her bouquet was grown by @goodfightflowers, a local flower farm. Everything about Hannah and Noah's wedding was a dedication not only to their relationship with each other, but their relationship with their friends, family, and community as well.
Haylee and David chose a simple courthouse ceremony followed by a beautiful afternoon relaxing in the sun in the backyard of their home. This sweet little family's love for each other shines through every photo.

After rafting down the French Broad River, deep into Pisgah National Forest, Sydney and Bailey declared their love for each other atop Mountain Island. This couple's creativity and humor know no bounds and their joy shines through at every moment.
Surrounded by those dearest to them, Ian and Alex celebrated their love for each other on the banks of the Nolichucky River. This river has been witness to so much growth and change for this couple over the years, there is no more fitting place for them to start this next chapter.

Ellie and Root's beautiful wedding was perfectly described by Ellie's mother as "whimsical." The couple collected moss from the woods behind the family home to decorate the venue. Ellie sewed her dress herself. Roots' hair was laced with fairy tinsel. The chuppah was decorated with flowers and lace by their friends and family. Their wedding, like their relationship and their lives, was a work of art designed specifically for them. It was such a joy to be able to witness their love and be welcomed into their world for a little while.
Michael and Angela's beautiful elopement took place at the historic Mountain Magnolia Inn. Filled with retro details and intimate moments, this couples wedding was an honor to behold.
